Abu Dhabi partners with UNICEO
The Abu Dhabi Conventions & Exhibition Bureau Department (ADCEB) has signed a strategic partnership with the international, non-profit United Networks of International Corporate Event Organisers (UNICEO).
The joint venture will offer enhanced networking, business support and destination awareness opportunities to UNICEO’s community of corporate events decision makers.
Mubarak Al Shamisi, ADCEB director, said the partnership will help increase awareness of Abu Dhabi as a gateway to the Middle East and North Africa region.
“The strategic partnership with UNICEO will benefit global corporations convening events in Abu Dhabi and help them leverage the diverse offerings of the UAE capital,” he said. “We look forward to working with UNICEO over the coming year to deliver bigger and more impactful events for corporations.”
With 2,500 members across 35 countries, UNICEO brings together its members to broaden their networks, improve their events and energise their careers by sharing experiences and best practices. UNICEO Executive Director Laurent Fuchs said the partnership will provide benefits to both sides.
“Abu Dhabi is conducting an ambitious strategy to attract corporate events,” he said. “We are delighted they decided to support UNICEO and trust that their offer will meet our members’ needs.”
