Ireland’s Adare Manor awarded for excellence

Situated in County Limerick, Adare Manor is a celebrated castle resort, offering guests a unique experience with a Michelin Star signature restaurant, Tom Fazio championship-designed golf course, the only 111SKIN Spa and Clinic in Ireland and a bountiful 840-acre estate with a plethora of outdoor countryside pursuits. The resort was named #1 Resort in the World and #1 Resort in Europe by Conde Nast Traveler in its annual 2022 Readers’ Choice Awards.
“It is an absolute honour to be recognised as the number one resort in the world and number one in Europe by such a prestige international media brand,” said Brendan O’Connor, general manager. “The readers of Condé Nast Traveler are inspiring guests of ours who share a passion for excellence and authentic hospitality experiences, and we are humbled that they have chosen Adare Manor as their absolute favourite destination in the world.”
The resort is surrounded by medieval ruins, walled gardens and winding woodland paths – just 25 minutes from Shannon International Airport. Since reopening its doors at the end of 2017 following a meticulous multi-year renovation, Adare Manor quickly propelled onto the global stage for providing an outstanding hospitality experience. In just two years after the property reopened, Adare received one Michelin Star for its signature Oak Room restaurant, making it the first Michelin Star ever in the County Limerick region.
In 2027, the resort will be the host venue to the celebrated Ryder Cup on its championship Tom Fazio golf course.
