Experience Hungary’s rich cultural heritage

Budapest has plenty to offer both in terms of the natural surroundings, as well as many options for sports and activities in the city.
Budapest has plenty to offer both in terms of the natural surroundings, as well as many options for sports and activities in the city.

Hungary is a unique international business events destination that works. It’s accessible, affordable and attractive; offers a broad range of classic and state-of-the-art venue and hotel options in all categories; and is a great value-for-money destination for both event organisers and attendees.

“Hungary is becoming an increasingly popular meetings destination thanks to its newly developed venues and increasing hotel capacities that can meet every need,” said Zsofia Jakab, deputy CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency. “Budapest, with its outstanding architecture, colourful gastronomic scene (with seven Michelin-starred restaurants), its unique heritage sites and traditions, and its exceptional thermal spa culture, is easily accessible from all global hubs and major European cities.”

In addition to beautiful conference hotels and event venues, various new additions will boost the reopening of business. The recent expansion of the HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center features a new scalable congress centre for up to 2,000 people, ample breakout rooms and seven large exhibition halls of between 3,000 and 20,000 square metres.

The renovated world-famous Hungarian State Opera is open again after nearly five years of closure. It can accommodate exclusive business events, either combined with or separate from programmed performances. As a highlight, VIP guests can enter via the Royal Staircase, crossing the Red Parlour to the Royal Boxes.
