Business Events Australia offers venues for all occasions

Australia has been experiencing record levels of infrastructure and development in recent years, including new and expanded convention centres, city precincts, and research and knowledge centres. This has continued throughout the pandemic, with nearly 100 new or renovated hotels opening, representing an additional 12,000 rooms.
For example, Crown Towers Sydney, rising 275 metres above Sydney’s waterside Barangaroo precinct, is now the tallest building in the city skyline. Within walking distance of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, Crown Towers features 349 guest rooms, including 20 spacious villas with outdoor terraces. Planners can entertain 380 seated guests in the Pearl Ballroom or 20 seated guests or 40 standing in the intimate Opal Room. The outdoor Pavilion can accommodate 40 guests seated or 80 standing for a cocktail function.
Another versatile space is Cairns Convention Centre, which underwent a major refurbishment in 2021. The new contemporary interior has modern technology as well as a revamped registration area. A 10,000-square-metre expansion is also underway, due for completion in late 2022.
