Heidelberg Congress Center will open its doors in 2023
In 2023, the exciting and modern Heidelberg Congress Center will open its doors, giving Heidelberg Marketing GmbH an opportunity to offer expertise in a variety of experience marketing – from physical and hybrid to purely virtual events, from content development and social media to complete community building.
After intensive public participation, a location for Heidelberg Congress Center was found in the Bahnstadt district, which offers the best design and development possibilities and is also well-connected. The Congress Center will be accessible from the main train station via Europaplatz in just a few minutes on foot. The Hauptbahnhof Sud tram stop is directly in front of the HCC. The design is based on plans by DEGELO Architekten from Basel, which won the architectural competition to design the conference centre. The HCC is a project of the International Building Exhibition (IBA) Heidelberg.
Heidelberg Congress is responsible for the operational management of the conference centre and the Stadthalle Heidelberg. The Stadthalle will be an ideal complement to the new conference centre for evening receptions.
